Garlic Roasted Asparagus

1 lbs. fresh green asparagus
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon olive oil

Methods/steps
1. Trim asparagus by cutting 1” off the stems.
2. Bring 5 quarts of water with 1 tablespoon of salt to a boil in a pot. Cook asparagus uncovered until crisp-tender (approx. 4 minutes).
3. Drain asparagus and transfer to your Brookfield Oval Bakeware No.7.
4. Preheat broiler.
5. In a small ramekin or bowl, finely chop the garlic or crush with a spoon. Add the olive oil. Pour the mixture over the asparagus and sprinkle with pepper to taste.
6. Place the dish in the oven about 7” away from the broiler and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
