1 unbaked 9" pie crust
8 medium firm apples
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 nutmeg
1/8 salt
1 cup walnuts

Methods/steps
Preheat oven 450oF
Peel, core and quarter apples
Using food processor chop walnuts coarsley, set aside in small bowl.
In food processor slice apple on thick slice.
Put into deep dish 9" pie crust
With knife blade in processor add cream, sugar,egg,flour and seasonings. Process thoroughly about 10 seconds. Pour over apples slices and let seep into and under apples. Top with chopped walnuts
Bake 10 minutes at 450oF. Reduce heat to 350oF and bake until apples are tender,40 minutes.
